Meet your coach

 

I’M LOUIS: a functional strength & conditioning coach, yoga teacher, nutrition coach, personal trainer and Founder of ONE by LW.

I discovered the transformative nature of exercise through exploring Martial Arts, Calisthenics and Yoga. After experiencing first-hand the benefits of Strength & Conditioning training on my physical and mental wellbeing while recovering from physical injury, I dedicated my career to supporting others in their fitness journey.

I truly believe that health, fitness and wellness goes beyond a 60 minute gym session, and in order to create impact we must adopt a holistic approach to scaffold habit formation, movement, meditation, sleep quality, nutrition and more.

I integrate this holistic perspective with a bespoke, personalised approach to support clients on their individual journey to health and wellness.

  • The power of conscious breathing is an ancient science utilised for health and performance. Breathing intentionally to create calm and breathing with purpose for alertness and readiness transforms our mental, physical and emotional health to enable us to manage the demands of work, relationship and personal stressors.

  • Gaining a better understanding of nutrition, recovery and movement through education can drastically improve our ability to make informed decisions for ourselves, reach body composition goals and increase performance both in and out of the gym. The intention is to acquire the knowledge and skill to move forward independently, with autonomy and freedom to make sustainable, long-term lifestyle change.

ONE by LW promotes positive transformation in the physical and the mental so that clients flourish both inside and outside the gym setting. As a coach, I adhere to credible, systematised and scientific processes with proven success.

The ONE by LW system empowers clients through education on nutrition, sleep, movement, recovery and mindfulness; connecting the dots between the key aspects of enhanced performance.

Any coach can make a client tired & sweaty in the gym, my purpose built system goes beyond this. I optimise all lifestyle factors to maximise potential and increase quality of life, longevity and athleticism.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Clients will receive a bespoke training plan via the 1LW app. All exercises on the programme have demonstration videos so that clients can perform with optimum technique. Clients log their progress within the app to track performance and generate reports. Clients receive a weekly accountability check-in, monthly performance review and mentorship through digital assets such as recipe books, infographics and other resources.

  • Absolutely. All training programmes are bespoke and individualised, so exercises are adapted to ensure they are safe to perform. Our holistic strategy will mediate the demands of your individual needs. We will also work alongside specialists in physiotherapy, osteopathy, sports therapists, chiropractors and psychotherapists if needed.

  • I train clients in a variety of private, luxury training facilities across London, specifically Knightsbridge, Mayfair and St James (Whitehall). However, I am committed to finding a solution for my clients and therefore have the capacity to train clients in London, residential and private commercial facilities. I also travel overseas to support my clients with their training whilst on holiday/work trips.

  • The minimum commitment to work with me is three months. In order to create meaningful lifestyle change and subsequently achieve meaningful progress, both myself and clients must invest in their ongoing development. Clients’ periodised training programme and nutrition are designed to progressively support their goals. Clients receive ongoing accountability and support from myself

  • Yes! Clients’ training programmes are completely bespoke to the individual, their lifestyle and training goals. Clients training programmes are appropriately to meet them at their current fitness level. This will be explored in great detail during the onboarding consultation
